The focus for HerbalCenter was to move from a html site to a WordPress and Woocommerce shop. It was also an opportunity to look at how the design was now meeting the needs of the new “impatient customer”.
The focus for HerbalCenter was to move from a html site to a WordPress and Woocommerce shop. It was also an opportunity to look at how the design was now meeting the needs of the new “impatient customer”.
HerbalCenter is a successful business online but part of success is moving with the times. The attention span of customers is so much smaller now so you have a smaller window to communicate the benefits of what you are offering them.
The key factors we looked at for this site was:-
If you look at the two images below, you can that the new design on the right answers so many questions faster than the first design. What before may have taken a full page of scrolling to inform, has been condensed into pictures and title to give a quick overview of the benefits. The patient customer has all but died now and as frustrating as it is as a business owner to keep evolving the business, it’s a necessity to connect with a customer in the ways they want.
We want our profits to “change” so we have to. However… it does not have to be big changes or a belief that you have to scrap everything! So often you can work with what you have by refreshing images, moving information around, adding more call to action buttons or opening more pages in a new browser so people don’t lose the page, etc. etc.
